Are you asleep?

It’s 12:30 am and Todd and I are lying in bed watching FRIENDS. When I’m about to fall asleep is often when my best thinking happens. I plan things in my head for the following day, or remember things that needed to be done today.

As Todd lazily rolled over, I remind him that once again, the boys completely pulled the radiator off the wall in the playroom.  When I asked them why they did it, they blamed it on Mickey. Yes, the stuffed Disney character.. This is not the first time they have done this either, and it’s not like I’m far away from them.  Within the 2 minutes it takes me to put the laundry from the washer into the dryer, they have moved three chairs and lifted a radiator off a wall. Who thinks of this? Why do they think that is even a fun activity?

As the boys are asleep, snuggled in their beds, and Taylor is awake (again) playing with ponies in her bed, Todd is making sure that I reattached the radiator safely.

Tomorrow is another day for demolition.

Game On.

Todd’s best friend, Kevin, is a bit of a wise ass.  He is one of the individuals that enjoys laughing at the chaotic things I post, almost daily.  Like many people, he finds the things I have to endure with these crazy kids day in and day out hilarious.  It’s no secret, my kids are insane.  Don’t get me wrong, I love them all with my whole heart, but they are insane.  There is no other way of putting it.  The things they think of doing would never cross my mind.  They throw things in the toilet, climb on tables to record over the outgoing message on the answering machine, dump Ranger’s water bowl on the floor, tip over furniture, etc.  I suppose all of this could be explained by the fact that they are two years old (and there are TWO of them) but calling them insane is more fun.  While Taylor is the sweetest thing you will ever meet, she has a wild side to her too.  She sometimes likes to assist the boys in their various “projects”, but mostly, she’s just full of funny.  I hope to capture the antics of my three loves through this blog, weather it be hilarious one-liners, pictures, or stories.  So, thank you in advance, Kevin, and all of those who have expressed interest in our wonderfully chaotic life.  We hope you enjoy this ride with us.
